Western Intelligent Connected Vehicle (Academician Li Keqiang Workstation) was jointly established by Chongqing High-tech Development and Construction Investment Group and the team of Academician Li Keqiang of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Professor of Tsinghua University, focusing on new R&D of intelligent connected vehicles, promoting the development of Chongqing's intelligent connected vehicle industry, exporting key technologies and intellectual property rights to the national intelligent connected vehicle industry, and becoming a frontier for exploring China's standard intelligent connected vehicle solutions.
Western Intelligent Connected Vehicle builds and operates the Academician Li Keqiang Workstation, adopting the model of "government promotion, academician leadership, and market-oriented operation", targeting the intelligent connected vehicle industry, tackling common key technologies, and promoting the rapid transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
Academician Li Keqiang is the chief scientist of the National Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Center, the proposer and industrialization promoter of the term "intelligent connected vehicle" and its China solution. He has made important contributions to the development of China's automotive industry in areas such as the proposal of the concept of intelligent connected vehicles, national strategy formulation, industrialization implementation, and application.
