Wuhan Yangtze Communication Industry Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") was established in 1996. The Company's initial public offering was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2000, and it is a member enterprise of China Information and Communication Technologies Group Corporation, which is directly under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.
The Company effectively integrates new-generation information technologies such as converged communication technology, big data and artificial intelligence technology, and intelligent hardware R&D technology into smart emergency communication and command products, smart city operation management and command products, and other products, helping public security, emergency, and other users break through communication barriers in command and dispatch, achieve more comprehensive situational awareness, faster emergency response, more precise resource deployment, and more intelligent analysis and judgment, enhance command efficiency, and contribute to urban safety. The Company focuses on six major industry directions: smart emergency, smart public security, smart transportation, smart firefighting, smart city operations, and smart national defense mobilization. It has been deeply engaged in the emergency communication and command field for 30 years, long engaged in application software development, system integration, and technical services, and is one of the information technology service providers with the largest geographical coverage in the domestic emergency communication and command field.
The Company has successively undertaken national science and technology research projects during the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th Five-Year Plan periods, as well as national Torch Program projects, and has accumulated hundreds of technical patents and software copyrights. The Company has a postdoctoral research workstation, possesses a series of authoritative qualifications such as Information System Construction and Service Capability (CS4 Excellent Level), Capability Maturity Model Integration CMMI5, and ISO9001 quality system certification, and has participated in the formulation of more than ten national and provincial-level standards. Over the years, the Company has won 32 major awards such as "National (Level) Key New Products" and 26 provincial and ministerial-level key scientific research achievement awards.
The Company's products and services have widely covered 4 municipalities directly under the Central Government, 27 provinces or autonomous regions, the Macao Special Administrative Region, 215 prefecture-level cities, and 1000+ county-level cities in China, while also successfully entering overseas markets and serving more than 20 countries. In addition, the Company has provided solid security and emergency command technical support for many major events such as the Olympic Games, the 100th Anniversary Celebration of the Founding of the Communist Party of China, the China International Import Expo, the G20 Summit, and the Davos Forum.
