The Panasonic Group is a global electronics manufacturer, engaged in the production and sales of various electrical products. In 1978, Chinese national leaders visited our group's TV factory in Japan. During the talks, founder Konosuke Matsushita expressed his determination to contribute to China. Subsequently, our group embarked on the initial stage of its business in China. Panasonic Energy (China) Co., Ltd. was a joint venture established in 1994 by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. and Beijing Huaying Sheng Electric Development Company, and became wholly foreign-owned in 2002, mainly responsible for wholesale and after-sales service of home appliances and system products. As an investment company in China, Panasonic Electric (China) Co., Ltd. also oversees and supports talent development, finance, legal affairs, environmental protection, and intellectual property.
