Wuhan Chuxing Optical Fiber Application Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in April 2001. It is located in Wuhan East Lake New Technology Development Zone, known as "China Optics Valley". It is a Sino-foreign joint venture specializing in the research, development, production and sales of lensed optical fiber products. The products mainly include: various types of lensed optical fibers, metallized optical fibers, optical fiber components, etc. At the same time, the company also operates other businesses in the fields of communications, medical care, sensing, etc., with products including: various coupling fixtures, laser coupling welding systems, metal shells, instruments and meters, energy optical fibers, SMA905 patch cords, large-core-diameter optical fiber bundle arrays, etc.
The company has a technical team with many years of practical experience. The precision optical fiber polishing machine, online polishing monitoring and inspection system and process independently developed by the company have independent intellectual property rights. The commercialization level of lensed optical fiber products has reached: coupling efficiency of tapered optical fiber to LD chips of more than 50%; coupling efficiency of parabolic optical fiber to LED chips of more than 45%; coupling efficiency of wedge-shaped optical fiber to PUMP LASER chips of more than 75%; and coupling efficiency of polarization-maintaining optical fiber to SLD chips of more than 30%. The tensile strength of the optical fiber metallized coating is >10N, and it has an annual production capacity of 100,000 pieces of various lensed optical fibers. According to user feedback, the newly launched energy optical fibers and patch cords can replace similar imported products. In terms of active devices, the company can provide fiber-coupled lasers and detectors of various wavelengths from 630nm to 1550nm and any structure. Applying years of device production experience, the company has developed a new generation of coaxial optical device coupling fixtures and semi-automatic three-beam oblique welding laser welding workstations, greatly improving the production efficiency and qualification rate of coaxial devices. The unidirectional four-beam coupling welding system developed for traditional structure devices (dual in-line type, butterfly type) fills a domestic gap and has been exported to North America.
In June 2006, according to the GB/TI9001-2000 ISO9001:2000 standards, the company established a quality management system and formulated the company's Quality Manual. In October 2006, the company passed the certification of the National Certification Center for Quality Management Systems. In October 2007, it passed the re-inspection by the relevant departments again, and the quality management system is operating well.
