Xinji Aosen Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 2002 and is now a member unit of the China Iron and Steel Association and an executive director unit of the Hebei Metallurgical Industry Association. Since 2005, the company has been rated as one of the top 500 manufacturing enterprises in China and one of the top 50 enterprises in Hebei for 11 consecutive years. It is a cross-industry group with steel as its main business, also engaged in real estate and hotels. Aosen Steel was developed on the basis of the former Xinji Zhaoma Bainite Steel General Factory. It is an integrated steel enterprise integrating sintering, ironmaking, steelmaking, steel rolling, coking, and logistics, with an annual production capacity of 3 million tons each of iron, steel, and rolled products. The enterprise currently employs more than 6,000 people, including 1,173 with college or higher education and 670 engineering and technical personnel. Total assets are 7 billion yuan, with fixed assets of 5.5 billion yuan. Aosen Steel passed the ISO-9001 quality system certification in 2003. It uses blast furnace ironmaking, converter steelmaking, secondary refining, and continuous casting and rolling processes to produce billets, slabs, high-speed wire rods, and hot-rolled strips, including: high-speed wire rods for industrial drawing (Q195, Q235, SAE1008B and other plain carbon series), steel for standard parts (AS08, 195M cold heading series, Φ6.5-20mm), construction steel, high-quality carbon structural steel (45#, 55#, 60#, 65#, 70#, 80# series), steel for prestressed steel strands (SWRH82B, SWRH77B series, Φ8-12.5mm), and medium-width strip steel (width 352-520mm, thickness 1.75-7.75mm). The company is equipped with advanced quality testing instruments such as X-ray fluorescence spectrometers, ARL direct-reading spectrometers, and Zeiss metallographic microscopes. Currently, products sell well in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Hebei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, and other places, and are also exported to Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, the Philippines, and European and other countries and regions. Aosen Steel has unique locational advantages for iron and steel enterprises: located 60 kilometers east of Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province, with Taihang Mountains to the west, rich in iron ore and coal resources; adjacent to the Bohai Sea to the east, with convenient port logistics; adjacent to Beijing and Tianjin to the north, close to the world's largest Anping wire mesh market, Yongnian standard parts market, and Tianjin steel strand market, located in the core area of the Bohai Rim Economic Circle. Currently, the company has signed long-term strategic cooperation agreements for mineral resources with the world's largest mining company, Brazil's Vale, and Australia's third-largest mining company, FMG.
