Zhejiang Huazhan Engineering Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd. was founded in 1970 and is located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. Currently, it is a mixed-ownership design institute jointly held by Ningbo Rail Transit Group Corporation (a large municipal state-owned enterprise) and China Railway Design Group (a central enterprise), and is the first design institute in Ningbo to be recognized as a national high-tech enterprise. The company possesses Class A qualifications in building engineering, rail transit engineering, geotechnical engineering investigation, and engineering surveying; Class B qualifications in landscape architecture engineering, road engineering, bridge engineering, drainage engineering, surveying and mapping engineering, and special professional engineering contracting. Its business scope covers the whole-process design and consultation, investigation, surveying and mapping, monitoring and testing, and engineering general contracting for buildings, underground space, urban rail transit, railways, municipal engineering, and other projects.
