[Introduction to Greenland Group Northwest Region]
In 2004, responding to the national Western Development Strategy, Greenland Group entered Shaanxi and established the Northwest Real Estate Division of Greenland Group. Over more than a decade of meticulous cultivation, Greenland, from the perspective of an "urban operator," has actively participated in urban construction and development in the Northwest, now expanding to six provinces including Shaanxi, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Gansu, and Qinghai. The total development volume to date is nearly 16 million square meters, with a cumulative total investment exceeding 80 billion yuan. Among this, in Shaanxi Province, cumulative investment has reached approximately 45 billion yuan, with tax payments exceeding 5 billion yuan. Over 20 projects have been cumulatively invested in and developed, with a developed area of about 8 million square meters, of which approximately 5 million square meters have been completed. More than 30,000 units of various commercial housing have been delivered, and hundreds of thousands of citizens reside, consume, and work in the various products developed by Greenland.
In urban development and construction, Greenland Group, "doing what the government envisions and meeting market demands," actively participates in Shaanxi's urban development. In Xi'an High-tech Zone, buildings such as the Gate to the Metropolis, Greenland PICO Convention and Exhibition Center, Greenland Holiday Inn, Greenland Central Plaza, Greenland Zhengda Splendid City, Greenland's "Taojie," and Greenland Center have risen one after another, adding a brilliant stroke to the modern urban landscape of Xi'an.
Meanwhile, following the implementation of the Group's "big infrastructure, big finance, big consumption" strategy, Greenland Northwest seeks deeper cooperation with Shaanxi through a more comprehensive strategic system. It has actively participated in the mixed-ownership reform of a local state-owned enterprise in Shaanxi (Xi'an Construction Engineering), and has assisted in the development and construction of Xi'an Urban Park (Juhe Wetland Park) through the PPP model.
Since December 2016, the Northwest Division of Greenland Group was upgraded to the Northwest Regional Management Headquarters of Greenland Group.
On February 27, 2017, Greenland Holdings signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Shaanxi Provincial Government, planning a new investment of hundreds of billions of yuan in Shaanxi.
On June 12, 2017, the 270-meter twin towers, the tallest in the Northwest, and Xi'an's first skyscraper office building centered on industrial operations—Greenland Center—was officially inaugurated. Thirty-eight well-known enterprises and Fortune 500 companies have settled in Greenland Center.
On July 6, 2017, the China International Silk Road Center, built by Greenland Group with a total investment exceeding 40 billion yuan, hailed as the "new business card of Greater Xi'an and a new landmark of the Silk Road," officially commenced construction in Fengdong New City, Xixian New Area.
Over the past thirteen years, Greenland Group, with its rich product system, excellent product quality, and strong corporate strength, has received high praise from leaders of all sectors, industry insiders, and consumers in Xi'an. It has successively won awards such as the "Outstanding Enterprise Investing in Shaanxi" in 2005, the "Xi'an Contract-Abiding and Credit-Worthy Enterprise" from 2006 to 2008, the "Xi'an Integrity Enterprise" in 2011, the Shaanxi Provincial Service Quality Satisfaction Improvement Project Demonstration Unit in 2013, the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2014, and the "Special Contribution Enterprise Award" from Xi'an High-tech Zone in 2015, among over a hundred honors, establishing a good corporate image and gaining widespread recognition from people of all walks of life in Shaanxi Province.
In the future, Greenland Group will seize the strategic development opportunities of the Belt and Road Initiative to make positive contributions to building the new starting point of the Silk Road Economic Belt.
