Xi'an Unigroup Guoxin Semiconductor Co., Ltd., formerly Xi'an Hua Xin Semiconductor Co., Ltd., was developed on the basis of the restructuring and reconstruction of the former Qimonda Technology (Xi'an) Co., Ltd. in 2009. In 2006, Qimonda Technology (Xi'an) Co., Ltd. was established and began operating as an independent company. In 2009, Inspur Group acquired the former Qimonda Technology (Xi'an) Co., Ltd., restructured and renamed it as Xi'an Hua Xin Semiconductor Co., Ltd. In 2015, Tongfang Guoxin Electronics Co., Ltd. acquired Xi'an Hua Xin Semiconductor Co., Ltd. and renamed it to Xi'an Unigroup Guoxin Semiconductor Co., Ltd. The company has more than 350 employees, including 1 national "*" expert, 2 overseas high-level talents under Xi'an's "5211" plan, over 10 foreign experts and returned overseas students, and more than 320 R&D engineers, 65% of whom hold master's or doctoral degrees. The company's core business is memory design and development, mass production and sales of self-branded memory products, and design and development services for ASICs and custom memory. It also undertakes several major national research projects and topics in the memory field, including the National Science and Technology Major Project "Core Electronic Devices, High-end Generic Chips and Basic Software Products" ("NGA") and the National High-tech R&D Program ("863"). Xi'an Unigroup Guoxin's DRAM memory R&D team has comprehensive technical expertise covering product definition, specification setting, circuit design, layout design, wafer, chip, and memory module testing, as well as pre-sales and after-sales technical support. The designed memory chips cover SDR, DDR, DDR2, DDR3, GDDR3, and LPDDR DRAM, achieving global mass production and sales. Memory module products include server memory modules (RDIMM and FBDIMM), notebook memory modules (SODIMM), and desktop memory modules (UDIMM), all achieving global mass production and sales. The company also has a NAND FLASH memory product line. Additionally, it provides turn-key development services for custom memory and has successfully developed multiple memory products for world-class memory companies, achieving global mass production and sales. The company possesses complete design experience from specification to tape-out. Over the past few years, it has successfully completed design and tape-out of over ten SoC chips based on 65nm/40nm/28nm/14nm processes, helping customers reduce costs and bring products to market efficiently. It is currently providing communication and SoC chip development services to multiple companies, including leading companies in the United States and Japan. Xi'an Unigroup Guoxin is jointly recognized by five ministries including the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as a "State-planned Layout Integrated Circuit Design Enterprise", recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology as a "National Torch Plan Key High-tech Enterprise" and a "High-tech Enterprise", recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as an "Integrated Circuit Design Enterprise", and awarded by Xi'an Science and Technology Bureau as "Xi'an Memory Engineering Technology Research Center".
