宁波市临床病理诊断中心（上海市肿瘤医院宁波病理中心）是宁波市卫计委直属的公益类自收自支事业单位，是按照规模化、集约化、专业化发展思路，将宁波市医疗中心李惠利医院、宁波市医院、宁波市第二医院、宁波大学附属医院、宁波市妇女儿童医院、宁波市中医院等六家市级三甲医院病理科成建制剥离，实现区域内好的病理诊断、医技人员与设备的整合与统筹；是宁波市卫计委深休医药卫生体制改革优化资源配置的重要举措之一。
