COFCO Sugar Holding Co., Ltd. (referred to as "COFCO Sugar") is an A-share listed company controlled by COFCO Group, established in 1983, listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1996, and after COFCO Group successfully restructured Xinjiang Tunhe in June 2005, the company entered a fast, healthy, and sustainable development track. COFCO Sugar is an international large sugar trader with "sugar as the main business and tomato as a supplement." Its core business scope includes sugar production at home and abroad, sugar import, port refining, domestic sugar sales and trade, sugar warehousing and logistics, serving as a solid foundation to ensure domestic sugar supply. Business overview: COFCO Sugar's sugar business has comprehensive industrial layouts both domestically and internationally, featuring a full industry operation model covering sugar production at home and abroad, imports and port refining, domestic trade, warehousing and logistics, and management of central reserve sugar. COFCO Sugar is an active force in enhancing domestic sugar planting and processing capabilities, engaging in the rural revitalization strategy in the sugar industry, serving agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, leveraging industrial poverty alleviation to achieve targeted poverty alleviation and targeted poverty eradication, striving for the decisive victory of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. In the domestic sugarcane and beet sugar production sectors, COFCO Sugar owns processing factories in major raw material producing areas such as Guangxi, Guangdong, Yunnan, and Xinjiang, striving to develop into one of the largest sugar enterprises domestically during the 13th Five-Year Plan period. COFCO Sugar serves as an important bridge to utilize international resources and ensure domestic supply. In overseas sugar production, it has an Australian refining factory - Tully Sugar; in the import and refining segment, as the main channel for national sugar import, it owns refining enterprises in Caofeidian, Tangshan, Hebei, and Yingkou, Liaoning. COFCO Sugar is the main force serving domestic sugar customers and promoting domestic sugar circulation. In domestic sugar trade and warehousing and logistics, its annual trade volume is 2 million tons, with 22 (including two under construction) sugar warehousing points, totaling 2 million tons of storage capacity, distributed across Chinese ports and transportation hub cities. Its tomato business mainly produces and exports bulk tomato paste, extending upstream and downstream to involve in agriculture, tomato products, and tomato health products, establishing an integrated industrial chain from seed development, planting, primary processing, deep processing, to sales.
