超级机器人研究院（黄埔）成立于2023年5月，由广州高新技术产业开发区管理委员会与华南理工大学在广州黄埔区共同设立，研究院面向国家重大战略需求，围绕机器人本体研发、智能材料、驱动控制、感知学习、智能交互等核心技术进行攻关及产品研发，孵化高质量、高水平机器人科技企业。研究院将建设为粤港澳大湾区机器人人才培养摇篮和科研创新高地。
