Shenzhen National High-tech Industry Innovation Center (Shenzhen Development and Reform Research Institute)

Shenzhen National High-tech Industry Innovation Center (referred to as the "Innovation Center") is a non-profit public technical service institution jointly established by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Shenzhen Municipal Government. It is a public institution managed as an enterprise and a pilot statutory body of Shenzhen. It officially began operations in July 2011. The Center is positioned as a comprehensive management institution for the science and technology industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, dedicated to developing into a collaborative innovation hub for the science and technology industry in the Greater Bay Area. It has multiple organizational units, including government macro-decision support, science and technology industry intelligence analysis and industry research, advanced technology cooperation and transformation, and innovation park incubation as business segments; big data and information services, and project operation management as operational segments; and compliance, general affairs, human resources, and finance as back-office support segments. These form an organizational system with distinct focuses, mutual support, and symbiotic development.
