Shanghai Shangfei Aircraft Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (referred to as Shangfei Equipment) was restructured from the Sixth Factory of Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in 2006. It specializes in the production of aircraft components, overall solutions for aircraft and engine tooling, and construction of intelligent manufacturing production lines. It also possesses capabilities in precision manufacturing of aircraft parts and R&D and production of special fasteners for aircraft.
Technology as the foundation, quality as the priority
Since its establishment, Shangfei Equipment has been committed to the development of China's aviation industry, and has obtained the 'AS9100 Aerospace System', 'GJB9001B Quality Management Certification', and the *four certificates. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has awarded it the 'Pilot Demonstration Unit of Intelligent Manufacturing', and it is a high-tech enterprise in Shanghai.
In product manufacturing, Shangfei Equipment has been undertaking R&D and production tasks for aircraft tooling, covering almost all models of aircraft currently under development. Aircraft tooling products involve radomes, nose sections, fuselages, center wings, wings, vertical tails, horizontal tails, and engine pylons, etc. In the field of engine tooling, it has participated in the design and manufacturing of tooling for assembly, testing, and test runs for Shanghai Commercial Aircraft Engine (AECC CAE), involving regular tooling, electrical parts, and hydraulic parts, and has completed about 1,000 tasks to date. At the same time, in the field of aircraft components, Shangfei Equipment has established an aircraft component assembly team integrating craftsmanship, assembly, and production management, undertaking production, processing, and assembly projects for multiple aircraft parts, such as military aircraft component production, Shenfei International C-series structural components, and batch production projects for ARJ21-700 aircraft wing-body fairings and mid-aft fuselage assemblies. By concentrating resources, it has successfully overcome many challenges, and the delivery progress and quality stability of each product have been recognized by customers.
Innovation-driven, accelerated development
In 2016, based on independent R&D, the company successfully developed intelligent production lines and intelligent manufacturing workshops representing internationally advanced and top-level standards. The implementation of intelligent manufacturing production lines has established new process platforms for flexible manufacturing and digital workshops, possessing intelligent flexible production capability for mixed-line production of different parts, solving the production challenges of multi-variety, small-batch, and high-precision parts. On September 29, 2017, the company's phase I manufacturing production line project was awarded the 'Pilot Demonstration Project of Intelligent Manufacturing' by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In the future, Shangfei Equipment will continue in-depth R&D for the phase II production workshop to achieve higher-standard, integrated, and automated intelligent production lines.

(AECC CAE), and various main OEMs of AVIC (including Shenyang Aircraft Corporation, Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group, Xi'an Aircraft Industry (Group) Company, Shaanxi Aircraft Industry (Group), Harbin Aircraft Industry (Group), and Hongdu Aviation Industry Group), and has successfully completed deliveries of multiple parts on airframes such as the C919 large passenger aircraft and the ARJ21 new regional aircraft. It also provides process tooling and aircraft parts to Boeing, Airbus, and Bombardier.
