In 1954, along with the construction of New China, China Commerce & Trade Company began its special mission of introducing and exporting outstanding domestic and international books, newspapers, periodicals, audio-visual materials, and picture albums, becoming one of China's earliest book import and export institutions.

In the early 1980s, with the approval of relevant State Council departments, China Commerce & Trade Company was formally restructured into an enterprise (state-owned) and became a member institution under the Hong Kong-based largest comprehensive publishing, distribution, retail, and printing group—Sino United Publishing (Holdings).

Today, China Commerce & Trade has become a major national supplier and wholesale distributor of the latest original-language books from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and internationally, providing imported books, textbooks, art albums, teaching aids, stationery, and related products to international institutions, foreign language schools, libraries, research institutes, large bookstores, well-known online bookstores, and professional bookstores nationwide.

Currently, we have opened direct-sale stores for imported books on four major platforms, becoming the largest supplier of imported books on Taobao/Tmall and the designated supplier on Dangdang, Amazon, and JD.com.

Cross-border e-commerce has become the strongest trend of the moment. As China Commerce & Trade, which holds import and export rights, we are leveraging our years of import and export advantages and rich membership resources for imported books to move from books to other imported products. We are building an overseas shopping website and forming a large cross-border e-commerce team.
