Kaidi Northwest Rubber Co., Ltd. is a wholly state-owned enterprise, affiliated with Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group) Co., Ltd. It is the most comprehensively strong and largest rubber product processing enterprise in Northwest China, and serves as a vice chairman unit of the China Rubber Industry Association.
The company is located in the High-tech Development Zone of Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, adjacent to the Xi-Bao Expressway in the south and the Xi'an Xianyang International Airport in the north. Covering an area of over 400,000 square meters, the company has a total workforce of more than 1,800 employees, including 263 engineering and technical personnel. Its technology center is recognized as a "Provincial Scientific Research Technology Center," and its testing center is a "Provincial Product Quality Testing Center," certified as an A-level quality inspection institution by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association. The company operates five major sales branches in East China, South China, North China, Northwest China, and Southwest China.
The company's main products include rubber-coated fabrics, rubber products, sheet products, sealing products, and high, medium, and low-pressure rubber hoses. These are primarily supplied to enterprises in aviation, aerospace, and other sectors, as well as to civilian industries such as petroleum, chemicals, steel, automobiles, engineering machinery, and coal.
The company obtained import and export operating rights in 2000; in March 2003, it passed ISO9001:2000 international quality system and GJB 9001A-2001 quality system certifications; in 2002, it received scientific research and production permits; in 2006, it obtained qualification recognition. It is the first unit nationwide to pass the second-party audit as a first-level manufacturing unit for aviation equipment support, and it has been awarded the Special Prize for National Scientific and Technological Progress by the State Council. It is also designated as a "Model Collective Unit" in Shaanxi Province and an "Advanced Unit for Science, Technology, and Industry Collaborative Support" by the National Science and Technology Commission.
