拉萨市精神卫生福利院是西藏自治区“十三五”规划重点民政项目，于2021年6月建成，同年10月通过初验，2022年1月完成终验后正式运营。项目占地面积53330平方米，总建筑面积12581.76平方米，包括门急诊楼、行政楼、康复护理用房等设施，并配备智慧医疗信息化系统，是拉萨市民政局设立的以收治西藏地区重度精神障碍患者为主的二级精神专科医院。目前医院设置男女病区。
