Shanghai SIASUN Robot & Automation Co., Ltd. was jointly established in 1999 by SIASUN Robot & Automation Co., Ltd. of the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Shanghai Jinqiao (Group) Co., Ltd. The Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, is the earliest institution in China to conduct robotics research and holds a leading position in the robotics technology industry. Relying on its parent company, Shanghai SIASUN Robot & Automation Co., Ltd. primarily engages in the design and production of industrial robots and their application engineering, logistics and warehousing automation, automated production lines, and other fields, providing users with complete engineering facilities and turnkey projects. To date, its users span various industries including automotive, motorcycles, engineering machinery, tobacco, electrical components, light industry, among others, making it a pioneer in the domestic robotics and automation equipment field.
