Wuhan Lishen Power Battery System Technology Co., Ltd. is established under the controlling shareholding of Tianjin Lishen Battery Joint-Stock Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Tianjin Lishen). It was founded on January 24, 2014, in Jiangxia District, Wuhan, with a registered capital of 53.052 million yuan; it specializes in the technology R&D, production, and operation of power battery systems for new energy vehicles.
The company is located in Xingyuanchang Industrial Park, Daqiao New District, Jiangxia District, Wuhan, with a temporary leased plant of nearly 5,000 square meters. With Wuhan as its center, the company radiates to various regions in Central China, expanding its market layout. It plans to build Wuhan Lishen into the largest production base for power battery systems in Central China. The first phase of the base is planned to cover 260 mu, with a target land area of 1,000 mu, a total investment of 9 billion yuan, and a planned production capacity of 2 billion ampere-hours.
Relying on Tianjin Lishen's strong scientific research strength, advanced management concepts, and abundant battery production resources, the company completed a PACK production line with a capacity of 100 million ampere-hours in 2015; by 2016, its production capacity had reached 200 million ampere-hours. It currently has over 180 employees, of whom more than 80 are at engineer level or above, and over 60 hold bachelor's degrees or higher.
With Tianjin Lishen's national-level enterprise technology center as technical support, through continuous technical research, the company's product performance and quality have reached advanced levels, and it has successfully passed the recognition as a Hubei Province High-Tech Enterprise, as well as ISO 9001 and ISO/TS16949 quality management system certifications, holding 6 patented technology achievements; currently, it is under review for ISO 14001 environmental management system certification and OHSAS occupational health and safety management system certification.
The company's main clients include Dongfeng Yangtze River, Dongfeng Electric, Zoomlion, Baoding Chang'an Bus, Yantai Haide, Zhongtong Bus, Weichai Group, SANY Heavy Industry, Chengdu Yajun, and Higer Bus, among others, and it has established strategic cooperative relationships with dozens of vehicle manufacturers such as Dongfeng Motor Corporation, Hengtian Automobile, and Baolujia Bus.
Since its establishment, the company has received strong support and continuous attention from leaders at all levels and from all sectors of society.
