Nanchang Lukang Hospital

Nanchang Lukang International Senior City is affiliated with the Qingshanhu District Social Welfare Center and Senior Apartments. It is a relatively large 'publicly built, privately operated' elderly care service project in Jiangxi Province, invested and constructed by the Qingshanhu District Government of Nanchang City and operated and managed by Lukang Medical Care Group. The project is located in Yuefang Village, Jingdong Town, Qingshanhu District, Nanchang City, east of Jingdong Avenue and north of Shunwai Road, adjacent to Vanke residential community and Aixi Lake Wetland Park, about 10 minutes' drive from Nanchang Railway Station, with superior geographical location, environment and transportation conditions. The senior apartments cover a total area of 173.79 mu, with a total of 3,450 beds, divided into five functional areas: health care area, rehabilitation nursing area, geriatric rehabilitation general hospital, hotel-style senior apartments, and family-style senior apartments. The senior apartments are developed and constructed in two phases. Phase I has an investment of about 200 million yuan, covers an area of 87.69 mu, with a building area of 52,000 square meters, including functional areas such as health care area, comprehensive nursing area, medical center, rehabilitation center, senior activity center, fitness, and entertainment and leisure center. Phase I has 1,088 beds, including 588 elderly care beds and 500 medical nursing inpatient beds. It is the largest and most fully equipped medical-care integrated senior community in Jiangxi Province to date. Lukang Senior City mainly provides services such as life care, health management, basic medical care, aging prevention, geriatric rehabilitation, rehabilitation nursing, psychological comfort, long-term care and hospice care (palliative care) for the 'three withouts', retired elderly, advanced age, empty nesters, elderly who have lost their only child, disabled and dementia elderly, elderly with chronic diseases, and elderly in need of hospice care. Lukang will use international advanced elderly care service concepts to provide standardized, professional, and integrated medical-nursing-care services for the elderly in Nanchang City, and build Lukang International Senior City into a benchmark elderly care service project in Jiangxi Province.
