Hubei Big Data Group Co., Ltd. is a first-tier state-owned enterprise directly under Hubei Province, established on June 6, 2025, with a registered capital of 5 billion yuan.
The establishment of the Group is an important measure taken by the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and the Hubei Provincial Government to thoroughly implement the strategic deployment of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on the development of the digital economy. It is also a key step in accelerating the construction of Digital Hubei and building a national highland for digital economy development, and is an inevitable requirement for serving the national strategy and supporting Hubei's pivotal role.
The functional positioning of Hubei Big Data Group is as a promoter of the construction of "Digital Hubei" and "Digital-Intelligent Hubei," a builder of public data resource platforms, a leader in digital industry development, and a practitioner of empowering the integration of the real economy and digital economy. It focuses on the construction of three major entities: "the main entity for investment and construction of digital public infrastructure, the main entity for the collection, circulation, development and utilization of data elements, and the main entity for the construction of trusted data spaces." It actively builds three major platforms: "digital industry servitization platform, industrial digitalization support platform, and digital technology innovation R&D empowerment platform."
