Sichuan Chuaneng Water Conservancy and Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. is an enterprise directly under the supervision of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Water Resources and a wholly-owned subsidiary controlled by Tonghui Group. It is a provincial enterprise in Sichuan specializing in the design, fabrication and construction general contracting Grade II for water conservancy and hydropower projects, power transmission and transformation projects, urban and road lighting projects, and communication projects. The scope of contracted projects includes:
1. Construction and installation of various types of dams, power station workshops, water diversion and discharge structures, navigation structures, foundation works, diversion and closure works, sand and gravel production, hydro-generator units, and power transmission and transformation projects; fabrication and installation of metal structures; fabrication and installation of penstocks and valves; heightening and reinforcement of dikes. Construction of pump stations, culverts, tunnels, construction roads, bridges, river dredging, irrigation, and drainage projects.
2. Construction of power transmission lines of 220KV and below (including cable projects) and substation projects of the same voltage level.
3. Lighting projects of 10KV and below for various urban squares, roads, highways, building facades, public green spaces, etc. Relying on its advantages of strong technical force, complete equipment, strict management, and effective measures, the company has achieved excellent performance in the construction of water conservancy, electric power, communication, urban and road lighting projects. It has successively completed a total of 380 project constructions, including small and medium-sized water conservancy and electric power project hubs, canal system supporting facilities, dike projects, power transmission and transformation stations, high and low voltage lines, and communication projects.
