China Siwei Surveying and Mapping Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Siwei) was founded in 1992 by the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping, and is a leading enterprise in the domestic surveying and mapping industry and geographic information industry. At the beginning of 2017, according to the requirements of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, it was restructured with China Centre for Resources Satellite Data and Applications. After more than 20 years of development, the company has formed a business system with commercial remote sensing satellite operation as the core, remote sensing data photography, value-added services, and ground equipment as the pillars, and smart city, geographic information platform software, satellite navigation and positioning, and geographic information applications as the key points.
