嫦娥奔月航天科技 (北京) 有限责任公司于2010年8月成立，是国家科技工业局探月与航天工程中心国有独资公司。嫦娥公司全权负责中国探月与深空探测工程的科技开发、市场推广、品牌塑造、公益合作、科普教育等经营管理活动（涉及专项审批的经营范围以专项审批为准）。中国探月工程简介：经过多年论证，国务院于2004年初正式批准我国探月工程立项，并纳入国家中长期科学和技术发展规划纲要，列为全国重大专项工程，也是国家重大科技标志性工程。2020年前，我国探月工程分“绕、落、回”三个阶段分步实施。2013年实施的“嫦娥三号”任务，是探月二期工程的主任务。“嫦娥三号”任务将突破月球软着陆、月面巡视勘察、月面生存、深空测控通信与遥操作、运载火箭直接进入地月转移轨道等关键技术，*终实现中国航天探测器在地外天体的首次软着陆。
