Dongfeng Aeolus

Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company of Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. is located at No. 1969 Dongfeng Avenue, Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is a business unit wholly established by Dongfeng Motor Corporation, integrating manufacturing and sales of Dongfeng's self-owned brand passenger vehicles, and occupies a core position in Dongfeng's self-owned brand business. Dongfeng's self-owned passenger vehicle business began in July 2005. After two years of operation, on July 25, 2007, the Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Business Division and its Party Committee were officially established as an emerging business unit of Dongfeng Motor Corporation. On June 9, 2009, in response to the development needs of the passenger vehicle business, Dongfeng Motor Corporation renamed the Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Business Division to Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company of Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd., with the English name Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company (abbreviation: DFPV).

Since its establishment in 2007, Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company has put into production and launched a series of models including Dongfeng Aeolus S30/H30/H30 CROSS/A60/A30/AX7/L60/AX3/AX5/AX4 and Dongfeng A9, as well as new energy models such as Dongfeng Aeolus E30/E30L, Dongfeng Aeolus A60EV, and Dongfeng Aeolus E70, achieving a product layout advancing on three fronts: SUV + sedan + new energy. With the launch of the company's first product, the Dongfeng Aeolus S30, in 2009, the company successively carried out market activities such as Dongfeng Aeolus Conquering Five Continents, partnering with NBA China Games, inviting celebrity endorsements, and the 'Tribute to Heroes' visit tour, helping to boost sales. In 2012, the company's vehicle sales exceeded 60,000 units for the first time; in 2013, sales jumped to a new high of 80,000 units; in 2016, the company achieved annual sales of 150,077 units, realizing a milestone leap in annual sales scale.
