Sunup Fusion was established in Shanghai in July 2025, leveraging the resources of Fudan University, is committed to developing strong-magnetic-field, compact fusion power plant technologies fueled by deuterium–helium-3 (D–³He).
Sunup Fusion plans to develop three generations of fusion devices over approximately ten years, with the ultimate goal of achieving a net energy gain of Q ＞ 1 fD–³He fusion, thereby laying the engineering technological foundation fa fusion power plant with a fundamentally aneutronic fusion profile.
