Fujian Zhaoyuan Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhaoyuan Optoelectronics") was established in March 2011 with a registered capital of 1.437 billion yuan. It is a holding enterprise of Fujian Electronics & Information Group, one of China's top 100 electronic enterprises, and is a key enterprise in Fujian Province as well as a national high-tech enterprise. The company is located in the Biomedical and Electromechanical Industrial Park, Nanyu Town, Minhou County, Fuzhou City, covering an area of 253 mu with a building area of 130,000 square meters. It is mainly engaged in the R&D, production, and sales of LED epitaxial wafers and LED chips.
The LED industry base construction project of Zhaoyuan Optoelectronics is a key project of Fujian Province and Fuzhou City, with a total investment of 3.177 billion yuan, constructed in two phases. The first phase of the project has a total investment of 1 billion yuan, building a production line of 100,000 pieces/month of epitaxial wafers and chips; the second phase has a total investment of 2.177 billion yuan, building a production line of 1 million pieces/month of epitaxial wafers and 680,000 pieces/month of chips. In 2022, the company launched a technical renovation project to fill gaps and upgrade, optimizing the production line layout, adding chip manufacturing bottleneck equipment in the existing plant area, and increasing chip production capacity by 320,000 pieces/month. Currently, the company's production capacity for both epitaxial wafers and chips has reached 1 million pieces/month, ranking sixth in the industry in terms of production scale.
Zhaoyuan Optoelectronics has established an R&D center, committed to the R&D of high-brightness and high-efficiency products, flip-chip products, and future frontier trend products. The core members of the technical and management team of this center all have more than 15 years of experience in LED epitaxial wafer and chip development and production, with senior industry experience and rich theoretical and practical experience, making it a professional team with rich experience and resource advantages. Zhaoyuan Optoelectronics has established the "Micro-pitch LED Engineering Research Center," which has been listed as a provincial micro-pitch engineering research center; and has cooperated with Fuzhou University to build a joint laboratory for Mini LED applications.
