Shanghai Integrated Circuit R&D Center

Shanghai Integrated Circuit R&D Center Co., Ltd. (ICRD), established in 2002, is an integrated circuit R&D center engaged in industry-university-research cooperation. ICRD is jointly invested and established by China's integrated circuit-related enterprise groups and universities. It is an independent public R&D institution open to all integrated circuit enterprises, universities, and research institutions in the industry. It is committed to solving the R&D and service support problems of major common technologies, providing public equipment and material evaluation and verification platforms for the development of the integrated circuit industry chain, and offering training bases for enterprises and universities to cultivate professional and highly skilled talents in integrated circuit technology.
The R&D center is located in Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, adjacent to Huali Microelectronics and SMIC. ICRD has established a 12-inch open integrated circuit process R&D and equipment material testing platform, including process equipment such as lithography machines, etching machines, and thin film deposition systems, with a cleanroom area exceeding 3,000 square meters.
The R&D center also actively explores internationalization paths, continuously enhancing its international influence, and has established technical cooperation and joint laboratories with several internationally renowned integrated circuit enterprises and R&D institutions.
