Shanghai Kingsemi Semiconductor Co., Ltd.

Shanghai Kingsemi Semiconductor Co., Ltd. was established in April 2009 in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park by five top experts in ion implantation equipment. Shanghai Wanye Enterprise Co., Ltd. (stock code: 600641) acquired Shanghai Kingsemi in July 2018, and the National Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund Co., Ltd. subsequently took a stake in Wanye Enterprise, becoming its third-largest shareholder.
With the support of the National Major Science and Technology Project "Extremely Large Scale Integrated Circuit Manufacturing Technology and Complete Process" ("02 Special Project"), Shanghai Kingsemi develops low-energy high-current ion implanters for integrated circuits, and has received honors such as the Second Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award and the First Prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award (2020). In 2019, Shanghai Kingsemi undertook the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission's special project "Key Technology Research and Prototype Verification of High-Energy Ion Implanter" to develop high-energy ion implanters for integrated circuits. With ion beam technology as its core, Shanghai Kingsemi has formed three product lines: integrated circuit ion implanters, AMOLED ion implanters, and photovoltaic ion implanters.
