Dongguan Water Investment Group Co., Ltd. was officially established on March 28, 2012, located in Zhangcun Community, Dongcheng District, Dongguan. As a state-owned comprehensive water enterprise, it coordinates the investment, financing, construction, operation, and development of water projects across the city, including water resources, water environment, and water safety. Its business scope covers raw water, water supply, sewage treatment, reclaimed water reuse, sludge disposal, water environment remediation, and water technology research and development. The company currently has total assets of 14 billion yuan.

Under the high attention and correct leadership of the Dongguan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, the Group adheres to the overall development strategy of "building a platform in one year, generating benefits in three years, and achieving first-class standards in five years," focusing on building Dongguan's water industry as a "construction platform, operation platform, and investment and financing platform." Currently, while taking the sewage treatment sector as its main business, the Group also utilizes fund investment, "Internet+" water services, PPP public-private cooperation, and technology incubation to promote water pollution control through integrated plant and network management, serve water environment improvement through public-private partnerships, and achieve water industry upgrading by advancing low-carbon parks. It continuously expands its business to regional water environment comprehensive treatment, water infrastructure construction and operation services, and low-carbon environmental protection green industries, promoting the high-level rise of Dongguan's water industry.

Additionally, to improve corporate management, the Group has continuously streamlined its corporate governance structure, implementing the establishment of the board of directors, supervisory board, and management team. The board has set up the Strategy and Investment Committee, Remuneration and Nomination Committee, and Risk Control and Audit Committee. The Group has six first-level wholly-owned subsidiaries: Shigu Sewage Treatment Co., Ltd., Zhangcun Water Purification Co., Ltd., Dongjiang Raw Water Co., Ltd., Zhihui Water Technology Co., Ltd., Dongqing Water Pollution Control Co., Ltd., and Zhongyuan Environmental Investment Co., Ltd. The Group employs 350 staff members. In addition, it actively promotes the construction of party organizations and trade unions, effectively supporting the development of various business operations.
