Hunan Xiangtou International Investment Co., Ltd. ("Xiangtou International") is a nationwide sino-foreign joint venture investment company approved by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. It was established on September 28, 2005 as a joint venture between Hunan Energy Group Co., Ltd. ("Hunan Energy Group") and the foreign investor Meiya Xiangtou Electric Power Co., Ltd. ("Meiya Xiangtou"). The registered capital is RMB 4 billion, with Hunan Energy Group and Meiya Xiangtou each contributing 50%. Xiangtou International is positioned to focus on the new energy industry, supplemented by integrated energy such as thermal power, hydropower, energy storage, and hydrogen energy, providing solid support for the construction and supply of electric power and energy. Xiangtou International will base itself in Hunan, face the whole country, integrate central and local resources, and pursue win-win development, striving to become a first-class and highly influential energy enterprise in central China. As of the end of 2025, the company has 6 wholly-owned and controlling enterprises and 3 equity-participating enterprises, with a total equity installed capacity of 8.39 million kilowatts, cumulative total assets of RMB 14.1 billion, and net assets of RMB 9.4 billion. It has created cumulative profits of over RMB 8.2 billion for shareholders and paid dividends of over RMB 3 billion. Various indicators such as asset scale and profitability rank among the top among the shareholder enterprises.
