Suntech Solar Power Co., Ltd. (Shanghai Suntech) was established in November 2006. It is a new energy enterprise wholly owned by Suntech Power Investment Pte. Ltd., located in the Caohejing Pujiang High-Tech Park, Minhang District, Shanghai. With over 900 employees, the company had 12 production lines with a total crystalline silicon solar cell capacity of 600MW and one 100MW crystalline silicon module production line by 2014. Its total assets reached RMB 2.57 billion, with the previous year's output value close to RMB 1.2 billion.
