Allegheny, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, is a world-renowned producer of specialty steels and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (abbreviated as ATI), a listed company on the New York Stock Exchange. Baowu Special Metallurgy is a special steel R&D and manufacturing unit under China Baowu, originating from Shanghai No.5 Steel Plant, Shanghai Iron and Steel Research Institute, and Baosteel Special Steel Co., Ltd. It is one of China's earliest special steel production bases and an important domestic R&D and production base for high-quality special steel and special alloys. Baowu Special Metallurgy focuses on high-performance metal and alloy materials centered on special metallurgy technology, aspiring to become a leader in key special metallurgy materials. Shida Precision is located in Xinzhuang Industrial Zone, Shanghai, covering an area of approximately 120,000 square meters with a building area of about 70,000 square meters. As one of the earliest Sino-American joint ventures in China to enter the production of "ultra-thin, ultra-flat, ultra-hard" precision-rolled stainless steel strip, the company has rich experience in cold-rolled strip production, a strong human resource base, timely market information on cold-rolled precision stainless steel strip®, and robust sales and technical support, placing its product quality, production capacity, and sales at a leading level.
