Chongqing Shapingba District People's Hospital

Chongqing Shapingba District People's Hospital was founded in 1939 and has a history of over 80 years. It is now a National Grade III General Hospital integrating medical treatment, education, and research (construction work for a Grade III Teaching Hospital has been initiated), undertaking tasks of medical emergency care, medical security, disease prevention, and treatment for the region and surrounding areas. The hospital has successively been awarded honorary titles such as "National Baby-Friendly Hospital," "Chongqing Civilized Unit," and "Chongqing Safe Hospital." The new campus covers an area of 101 mu, with a building area of 228,000 square meters and a planned capacity of 1,200 beds.
The hospital currently has nearly 1,200 employees, including more than 150 professional technicians with senior titles, more than 300 professional technicians with intermediate titles, more than 130 master's and doctoral students, and more than 100 members of various professional committees at all levels. The hospital has 32 clinical and medical technology departments covering 39 specialties.
