Over the past 25 years, China Daily has upheld the mission of "Let the world know China and let China go global" and the responsibility of "Reporting news events and conveying China's voice," earning acclaim from readers at home and abroad as one of China's most authoritative English-language media outlets. With societal development and ever-higher reader expectations, China Daily has gradually improved its service system, now forming an English-language newspaper group that includes China Daily, China Daily Hong Kong Edition, China Special (distributed in North America), China Business Weekly, Beijing Weekend, China Daily Shanghai & East China Edition, Shanghai English Star, the 21st Century series, and the China Daily website.
