Chongqing Zongshen Engine Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is the core enterprise of Chongqing Zongshen Motorcycle Group and is currently the only listed company under Zongshen. The company was founded in 1992 and has now developed into a large joint-stock enterprise integrating motorcycle engine research, development, manufacturing, and sales. It has approximately 2,500 employees, of whom more than 25% have a college degree or above, and highly educated, highly titled, and senior management talents account for 7% of the total workforce.
The company has strong capabilities in mechanical processing and engine assembly. It possesses advanced new engine production lines, three automated coating production lines, eight specialized machine production lines, more than 60 imported flexible machining centers, as well as high-precision production, inspection, and testing equipment such as coordinate measuring machines and Testra1100 series leakage detection instruments imported from the United States, with an annual production capacity of 3 million units. The company has successively passed ISO9001 quality system certification and became the first in China's motorcycle engine industry to obtain "3C" certification. Its "Zongshen" brand ZS1E40FM to ZS253FMM series engines sell well both domestically and internationally.
