The company was founded in 1953 and was originally named the * Engineering Division of the Electrification Engineering Bureau of the Ministry of Railways. In June 2001, the enterprise was restructured as a whole into the * Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Railway Electrification Bureau Group. Starting with the construction of China's first electrified railway, the Baoji-Fengzhou section, the company has over more than 40 years built over 4,400 kilometers of electrified railways, accounting for more than 39% of the current total electrified railway mileage in China, and has created more than 20 national *s. The electrification projects of the Yangtai Line, Fengda Line, and Jingqin Line undertaken by the company won the National Quality Project Silver Award; the Daqin Phase I project won the National Quality Project Gold Award; and our company has twice won the * highest honor in construction engineering -- the Luban Prize.
It holds a Grade I qualification for railway electrification engineering issued by the Ministry of Construction; a Grade I qualification for railway signaling and communication engineering; a Grade I qualification for telecommunications engineering; a qualification for integrated communication, monitoring, and toll system engineering (highway traffic engineering); a Grade I qualification for intelligent building; and a Grade I qualification for urban and road lighting engineering. Its annual construction capacity exceeds 1 billion yuan. It is a "Contract-honoring and Credit-worthy Unit" named by the Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce and a AAA credit-rated user of China Construction Bank, and has repeatedly won honors such as "Capital Civilized Unit" and the "Locomotive" Trophy. In 1996, it passed the GB/T19002-1994/idtISO9002:1994 quality system certification.
The company is able to undertake the construction of railway electric traction power supply projects, communication projects, signaling projects, locomotive power supply projects, power projects, postal and telecommunications projects, highway electromechanical projects, cable television network projects, and urban rail transit projects. It is a comprehensive construction enterprise with the longest history, rich construction experience, and strong technical levels, technical force, and technical equipment.
Since the reform and opening up, the company has actively expanded into related construction fields.
