Chongqing Knight Hospital

Chongqing Knight Hospital is located at No. 72, Dalu Village, Dashiba, Jiangbei District, Chongqing. It was founded in July 1988 by Mr. Tang Weili, a reformer, inventor, expert in difficult and complicated diseases, and hospital president. The hospital got its name because President Tang Weili invented the "method for treating difficult and complicated diseases," which won the Gold Award and the "Knight's Medal" at the 39th Brussels World Invention Exposition. It is a large modern comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, and scientific research, and combining traditional medicine with modern medicine.
At present, the hospital's medical and office building area is about 45,000 square meters, with a total investment of about 320 million. It is designed according to the standards of a ** hospital, with 500 warm beds, a 2,000-square-meter ** standardized laminar flow purification operating center, and a modern traditional Chinese patent medicine preparation center of nearly 4,000 square meters that has passed the national "GTP" certification. It has more than 30 clinical departments, including internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, and traditional Chinese medicine, as well as more than 20 auxiliary examination and treatment departments, including radiology, laboratory, special examination, and nuclear medicine. It has more than 100 modern medical instruments and equipment, including spiral CT, imported color ultrasound, and dynamic electrocardiogram.
In early 2002, the hospital took the lead in passing the "ISO9001-2000 Quality System Certification" and established a central computer network system, implementing 24-hour central monitoring, remote teaching and consultation, electronic prescriptions, electronic medical records, and other fully digital management. It is a designated unit for Chongqing medical insurance, a designated unit for Chongqing work-related injury insurance, a Chongqing 120 emergency network hospital, a Chongqing traffic accident green rescue hospital, a designated hospital for Chongqing maternity insurance, and a designated hospital for Chongqing urban and rural cooperative medical care. It is a clinical teaching and internship base for many medical universities and higher nursing colleges. In November 2007, Chongqing Knight Hospital was officially approved by the Health Bureau of Jiangbei District, Chongqing as a "private non-profit hospital," and in 2015 it was upgraded to a Grade II Class A hospital.
