On February 4, 1994, 20 million ordinary shares of Shanghai Fashion Co., Ltd. were publicly issued and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
On October 24, 2000, the company name was changed from Shanghai Fashion Co., Ltd. to Hualian Supermarket Co., Ltd.
On September 19, 2006, the company name was changed from Hualian Supermarket Co., Ltd. to Shanghai Xinhua Media Co., Ltd.
