Aeon is one of the manufacturers of operating room and ICU equipment and providers of medical system solutions in China.
Since its establishment, Aeon has always been guided by clinical needs and committed to the research of clinical medical equipment and solutions. At present, Aeon's business covers three major product portfolios: anesthesia and surgical support, emergency and critical care treatment, and medical engineering equipment, as well as five major medical system solutions: medical laminar flow purification solutions (laminar flow infection control), environment and equipment configuration, centralized gas supply, process quality control, and information integration.
In 2008, Aeon's anesthesia machines achieved a major breakthrough and successfully entered the U.S. market. At present, Aeon has 33 products certified with EU CE marks and sells to more than 120 countries and regions around the world. Notably, 175 Shangrila510 emergency ventilators stood out among many international brands and were selected by the International Olympic Committee as the designated ventilator brand for on-site emergency stations at 79 competition and training venues of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, successfully completing this glorious and arduous task. In June 2013, Aeon Medical's critical care ventilators were among the first to pass FDA certification, obtaining a pass to enter the U.S. market, marking an important milestone in the development of China's ventilator field.
Independent innovation has created Aeon's competitive advantage. As of the end of August 2013, Aeon has obtained and applied for more than 780 patents, including more than 400 invention patents, with an annual growth of over 100.
