Jiangxi Normal University

Jiangxi Normal University is a university jointly built by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, and a university under the Basic Capacity Building Project for Universities in Central and Western China. Located in Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province, it has been designated by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province as a priority provincial key (normal) university for development. It is the cradle of basic education teaching talents in Jiangxi, a training base for key teaching talents, and an engine for the reform and development of basic education.
The university currently has two campuses, Yaohu and Qingshanhu, with 22 teaching colleges, 69 undergraduate programs enrolling students, more than 26,400 full-time undergraduates, more than 9,600 doctoral and master's students, and 3,140 faculty and staff, including more than 80 person-times of various * talents and more than 400 person-times of provincial-level talents. It currently has 6 disciplines in the top 1% of ESI globally, 5 first-class disciplines in Jiangxi Province, 15 doctoral degree granting points, 7 postdoctoral research mobile (work) stations, 27 first-level discipline master's degree granting points, 25 professional master's degree granting points, and 56 research platforms at or above the provincial level of various types.
