Founded in 1993, Radium Company is a national key high-tech enterprise, a national key software enterprise, one of the first innovation pilot enterprises in Hunan Province, and has a post-doctoral scientific research workstation. The company specializes in the research and development of automatic detection and control technology for metallurgical production processes, providing advanced automatic control solutions for global steel enterprises. The main technical performance and indicators have reached or exceeded similar foreign products, with a domestic market share of 85% and annual sales of over 300 million yuan.
Radium Company is currently composed of four subsidiaries: Hengyang Headquarters, Changsha Branch, Beijing Research Institute, and Radium Birmingham (USA). The company has strong technical strength and outstanding achievements. It has been recognized as a provincial enterprise technology center and granted a post-doctoral scientific research workstation. The company has undertaken and completed many national key promotion projects for scientific and technological achievements and national torch plan projects, successfully developing more than 30 advanced technologies to fill domestic technical gaps. It has obtained more than 220 national patents and 12 software copyrights, and some key technologies have obtained international patents. The company has been rated as a key software enterprise within the national planning layout for four consecutive years (only 2 in Hunan).
