工商管理学院坐落于苍翠拱卫的岳麓山畔，毗邻蕴藉千年学术灵气的岳麓书院，这所千年学府蕴育出了百年商科。学院目前设有管理科学、工商管理、市场营销、信息管理与电子商务、会计、财务管理等6个系；拥有管理科学研究院、中科预测科学研究中心等15个跨学科研究机构；拥有1个国家自然科学基金创新群体、1个教育部“长江学者和创新团队发展计划”创新团队、1个*人才培养模式创新实验区、1个*教学团队、1个省级人文社科重点实验室，2个湖南省级研究基地，3个校级实验室；拥有*规划教材4本，*精品建设课程2门。学院现有一级学科博士点2个，二级学科博士点4个，博士后科研流动站2个，二级学科硕士点7个以及工商管理硕士（MBA）、高级工商管理硕士（EMBA）、会计硕士（MPAcc）、资产评估硕士、审计硕士等专业硕士学位授予点，7个本科专业。建成了完备的从学士到博士的三级人才培养体系。
