China Construction Integrated Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. (formerly the Comprehensive Survey and Design Institute of the Ministry of Construction, abbreviated as "China Construction Integrated Institute", English abbreviation "CIGIS") was established in 1951 and is a national comprehensive Grade A survey and design institute.
China Construction Integrated Institute is an enterprise providing comprehensive technical services in the field of engineering construction for clients. It has wholly-owned subsidiaries including Beijing Zhongcheng Construction Construction Supervision Company, Beijing Zongjian Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Zhongjing Construction Engineering Quality Testing Center, and Shenzhen Research Institute of Comprehensive Survey and Design. We have branches in Shenzhen, Tianjin, Dalian, and other places, and hold subsidiaries such as Jixiang Engineering Development Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong) and Comprehensive Testing Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong) in Hong Kong. The Institute also serves as the supporting or affiliated unit for the Construction Environment Engineering Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Technical Committee on Engineering Survey and Measurement Standardization of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Key Laboratory of Modern Urban Surveying and Mapping of the National Administration of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation, the Engineering Survey Branch of the Architectural Society of China, the National Engineering Survey Science and Technology Information Network, the Industry Development Working Department of the Engineering Survey and Geotechnical Branch of the China Exploration and Design Association, and the Chinese core journal "Engineering Survey".
China Construction Integrated Institute and its subsidiaries hold qualifications including national comprehensive Grade A engineering survey (comprehensive category), surveying and mapping, architectural design, engineering supervision, geological disaster prevention and control, first-grade professional contracting for foundation and groundwork engineering, Grade A qualifications for cultural relic protection engineering survey and design, Grade B qualifications for urban and rural planning, and qualifications for engineering pile testing and construction drawing review. Our services are organized into six professional sectors: architectural design and energy conservation, geotechnical engineering and foundation groundwork, surveying and mapping and digital city, engineering inspection and testing, disaster assessment and mitigation, and engineering supervision and consulting. In each sector, we have several specialized service institutions.
China Construction Integrated Institute currently has over 900 employees, including more than 660 professional and technical personnel, with over 220 having senior professional titles or above; there are 6 national survey masters, 6 experts with outstanding contributions at the ministerial and departmental levels, 16 experts enjoying special government allowances, and a total of 296 person-times of various registered professional qualifications.
With comprehensive service scope, rational professional structure, strong technical strength, and rich practical experience, China Construction Integrated Institute is capable of undertaking various large-scale, special, or complex engineering projects. Over the nearly 60 years since its establishment, it has completed more than 6,000 national key engineering projects and large and medium-sized engineering projects with broad social impact in geotechnical engineering, surveying and remote sensing, architectural design, water resources and environment, foundation and groundwork construction, and engineering supervision. It has also completed over 100 construction, water supply, and survey projects in multiple countries across Asia, Africa, and Europe. Among these, more than 70 projects have won national and ministerial-level excellent survey and design awards.
