Hunan Caixin Investment Holding Co., Ltd. is a wholly state-owned company approved by the Provincial People's Government in December 2001 and established on the basis of the former Hunan Provincial Trust and Investment Co., Ltd. Its business scope includes investment, operation and management of state-owned assets authorized by the provincial government; investment planning and consulting, financial advisory, guarantees; hotel operation and management, house leasing, etc. As of December 31, 2009, the company's total assets were 19.7 billion yuan, with net assets of 2.8 billion yuan.
Currently, Hunan Caixin owns more than 10 wholly-owned and controlling subsidiaries and branches, including Hunan Provincial Trust Co., Ltd., Caifu Securities Co., Ltd., Hunan Provincial State-owned Investment and Operation Co., Ltd., Hunan Caixin Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., Hunan Caixin Venture Capital Co., Ltd., Hunan Agricultural Credit Guarantee Co., Ltd., Hunan Caixin Engineering Investment Guarantee Co., Ltd., Hunan Provincial Property Rights Exchange, Caifutong Pawn Co., Ltd., and Caixin International Business Hotel. Its business scope covers numerous fields such as trust, securities, guarantees, venture capital, property rights trading, state-owned asset management, real estate development, pawn, and hotel operation, forming two main business lines of finance and industrial investment, and extending into other fields.
The company has a sound corporate governance structure. The Board of Directors has under it the Strategic Development Planning Committee, the Audit and Risk Management Committee, and the Performance Assessment and Remuneration Management Committee.
