China Film International Cinema is affiliated with China Film Cinema Investment Co., Ltd., which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Film Co., Ltd.
China Film Group Corporation was established in 1999, composed of the former China Film Corporation, Beijing Film Studio, China Children's Film Studio, China Film Co-production Corporation, China Film Equipment Corporation, Film Satellite Channel Program Production Center (CCTV6), and Beijing Film Developing and Video Technology Factory, among others. It is a leading large-scale film group in China, relying on the film and television industry and developing multiple industries comprehensively. China Film Group is the only domestic company in China with film import rights. At the end of 2010, China Film Group was restructured to establish China Film Co., Ltd. In recent years, China Film Co., Ltd. has further concentrated superior resources, invested on a large scale in modern multi-screen cinemas, expanded cooperation space for cinema chains in large and medium-sized cities, actively developed the potential of the film terminal market in small and medium-sized cities, and for this purpose established China Film Cinema Investment Co., Ltd. Through large-scale and industrialized operation models, it drives the overall development of the film industry and meets audiences' consumer needs for cultural products such as films. China Film Group is the "national team" and "professional team" of the film industry. Through cinema investment and construction, it occupies a considerable share of the domestic film market, strengthening control over the film market and enhancing the influence of China Film Group.
