About the Company

China Northwest Architectural Design and Research Institute (original name) was established in 1952 as one of the six regional architectural design institutes established by the state in the early days of the People's Republic of China. It is the earliest established and largest Class A architectural design unit in the Northwest region. It was successively affiliated with the Ministry of Construction Engineering, the State Capital Construction Commission, the State Administration of Construction Engineering, and the Ministry of Construction, and is now affiliated with China State Construction Engineering Corporation, a Fortune 500 enterprise. In 2007, it was restructured to its current name. Currently, it has over 1,060 employees, including 1 academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 2 Chinese Engineering Design Masters, 92 professor-level senior engineers, 372 senior construction engineers, and 322 engineers. It also has 19 experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, 4 experts with outstanding contributions in Shaanxi Province, and 10 outstanding survey and design engineers.
