The company was established on April 1, 1998, with its predecessor being Shanghai Daily Electric Motor Factory. Daily-Yujie is jointly invested by Johnson Electric Automotive Electrical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Johnson Electric") and Shanghai Mechanical & Electrical Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Mechanical & Electrical Co., Ltd."). The investment ratio between Johnson Electric and Mechanical & Electrical Co., Ltd. is 70% and 30%, respectively. The parent company of Johnson Electric is Johnson Electric Holdings Limited, a pioneer in the production of high-quality micro motors listed in Hong Kong. Mechanical & Electrical Co., Ltd. is a large listed company under Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd., leading the rapid development of China's mechanical and electrical equipment manufacturing enterprises.
