China United Airlines

China United Airlines Co., Ltd., abbreviated as "China United Airlines" with the English name "China United Airlines Co., LTD." and acronym "CUA", is a civil commercial airline based at Beijing Nanyuan Airport.

The predecessor of China United Airlines was "China United Airlines Company". In 2004, with the approval of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, Shanghai Airlines Co., Ltd. and China Aviation Supplies Import & Export Group Corporation jointly invested RMB 100 million to re-establish "China United Airlines Co., Ltd.".
In 2009, following the reorganization of China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines, China United Airlines officially joined the China Eastern Air Holding Company in 2010, becoming a holding subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines Co., Ltd.
Joining the new China Eastern Airlines added strength, vitality, and opened up development space for China United Airlines' future growth. Adhering to the business philosophy of "Safety and Efficiency, Integrity First, Customer Supreme, Pursuit of Excellence", China United Airlines has built professional teams of pilots, maintenance, cabin crew, and operations control with strong responsibility, exquisite skills, and rich experience, upholding the service concept of "Fast and Warm" and continuously forging ahead.

As of June 2011, the company owned 12 Boeing 737 aircraft, served more than 50 cities, and operated over 30 flights per day. Since its inception, China United Airlines has maintained an excellent safety record. From October 2005 to the end of 2010, it had safely transported over 6 million passengers and carried more than 50,000 tons of cargo. According to the company's development strategy, by the end of 2015, China United Airlines will become a mid-sized airline with over 50 aircraft.
Currently, China United Airlines has successively launched routes from Beijing Nanyuan to Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Changsha, Urumqi, Hohhot, Chongqing, Sanya, Wuxi, Ordos, Hailar, Yulin, Baotou, Ganzhou, Quzhou, Linyi, Foshan, etc. With the expansion of the fleet, the company will open more routes.

As the main operating base of China United Airlines, Beijing Nanyuan Airport is adjacent to the South Fourth Ring Road of Beijing, offering convenient transportation. In 2010, Beijing Nanyuan Airport ranked 42nd among national airports in passenger throughput, transporting over two million passengers throughout the year.

In May 2008, Foshan Shadi Airport Company was formally established as the second base airport exclusively used by China United Airlines, forming a "north-south correspondence" strategic pattern with Beijing Nanyuan Airport, committed to providing safe, high-quality, and efficient services for China United Airlines flights.

"Happy journey, Satisfied with China United Airlines", in 2011, China United Airlines opened new special routes from Beijing Nanyuan to Xi'an, Kunming, Xuzhou, Xiamen, Yan'an, etc., aiming to further meet passengers' travel needs and let more travelers experience the warm services provided by China United Airlines.
