InterTrans Translation Company was founded in October 2009, with its headquarters in Kunming. The company successively established Chengdu and Chongqing branches of InterTrans Translation Agency in 2009. It is a translation enterprise based in western China and serving the whole country. Over the 13 years since its establishment, through the joint efforts of all employees, the company's strength has continuously increased and its business has continuously expanded. At present, the company has more than 70 full-time English translators on a long-term basis ("At present, the translation industry is in a stage of rapid growth, but the industry as a whole lacks guiding norms and standards. At present, the company's normal daily processing volume is about 200,000 words, and its monthly processing volume is about 4 million words. Development History
October 2000, Kunming Xindaya Translation Agency was established in Kunming, Yunnan;
December 2004, Chengdu Yiqiao Translation Agency was established, based in Chengdu, Sichuan, and began to extend business nationwide;
December 2006, Chengdu Xindaya Translation Agency was established, beginning to build a translation factory based in Chengdu;
September 2009, Chengdu InterTrans Information Technology Co., Ltd. was established and settled in the "Chengdu Global Multilingual Information Conversion Center" jointly built by the Translators Association of China and the Chengdu High-tech Zone Management Committee in the Chengdu High-tech Development Zone High-tech Incubation Park. It is currently the translation company with the largest number of people settled in this center.
October 2009, Chongqing InterTrans Translation Co., Ltd. was established.
October 2009, in order to implement the company's development strategy of being based in the west and moving toward the whole country, the company name was changed from "Xindaya" to "InterTrans." The reason for the name change is that there are currently nearly 20 translation enterprises named "Xindaya" across the country.
