学校自1996年成立以来，多次被市委、市政府和城区区委、区政府评为社会力量办学先进单位”及民办教育先进单位”。并于2005年07月与新加坡特优教育中心签约友好合作协议，于2008年7月，成为美国TESOL教育学会考试培训中心，并于同年 9月被北京外语教学与研究出版社指定为剑桥国际少儿英语试验校”。自2003年10月我校成功举办长治市城区首届山月杯”小学生英语演讲赛后，每年 5月至10月期间，我校均会举办或承办全国英语技能大赛，为我市各界英语爱好者提供了一个展示自我的平台，并为我市英语事业的发展做出了贡献。
